Technically (distance) my local. Recently refurbished, the main issue with it so far is that they haven't decided what to do with the access to the yard. Currently, it's only through the pub (awkward and cramped) or someone has to come out to let you in to put the bikes in there (their preferred method, and they have been accommodating, but would not work for millions of forumengers turning up all the time). There is some cycle parking on the other side of the street but it's not really going to work as a forum pub until it's possible to take the bikes in there.

Yes but it's in Clapton, whole different area!

I like the Crooked Billet, it's a good pub. Big and has good beer as well as the outside space. Would be great if they could sort the access out.

We should try out the King's Arms at Buckfast (yes, really) Street/Derbyshire Street sometime. David's mate Sam is the manager and there are plans to install good cycle parking outside soon.

Pretty much the epicentre of London's bike theft trade though :/

I'd be up for a little summer excusion or two. We should definitely do Crate again on a sunny evening soon
