Listen to the man! Good photos will sell a bike better than these mysterious "what am I hiding" photos!!
Also, 1000 seems a little steapn! GLWS!

Epic fail at detecting sarcasm.
You're new to the forum, you are trying to sell a bike for £1k so you could at least try to produce a half decent description and photos not taken in a cave.
It's Bontrager Aeolus, by the way...
Welcome to LFGSS, have some rep'!

Mate some helpful tips:
Take some better photos (aka not instagram) possible outdoor if you can, also to help you with the sale your highly unlikely to get 1K for that bike if you look at other Treks that are for sale here previous...then again maybe your one is a special addition 'Tek' T1
Your best bet? Spilt it and sell the parts separately on here or if you don't like our advise you can go off to ebay!

that is a genuine advice for which i thank you HoKe, but yes this bike is kinda special buddy, when was the last time you've seen a track hubbed Aeolus (thank you Vince) non paired wheels? there's not that many of them out there.
for the people that give me advice on taking photos...seriously? read first than comment please... if you think you still should, just saying.
and yes, i'm new to this forum so you should also take that under consideration, believe me this is not a first bike that i've sold :)
Also, caves are cool as f*ck Vince, and i like taking pics of my bikes in them.

I read the first post and was curious as to how someone could be neg repped in less than a month and with fewer than ten posts.
Then I read the rest of the thread.

I was wondering about this - as they are quite nice wheels.

A pair we're sold on here for £300 not so long ago, google suggests >£200-£600< as a price range, and even at £600, that still leaves a fairly middle of the road aluminum track frame for £400. (And I love T1s)
TL:DR GLWS

you had me at "many many instagram followers"
listen to everybody, you're photo's may look nice, i have no photography background but they seem very artsy, however that's not going to sell the bike. for all we know the chainstays are bent in half...

Nice bike and seems like an almost reasonable price
but seriously, if you're going to sell bikes on the forum, regardless of how many you have sold in the past, heed the advice of those in the know
Also, if you're trying to sell a bike for £1000, I'd at least expect to see a FULL spec list e.g headset, BB, hubs, saddle, seatpost etc, even if it is stock...and most certainly spelling T(R)EK correctly
Good luck with the sale

Does Stan live in a crack den? Just wondering why there's no electricity or furniture...

He has explained the reasoning behind the photos but in my opinion, if you're selling a bike for £1000, you should at least get some decent photos and all of the info sorted before you list....or am I just being a bit boring

I love this forum! :)

I think this is all just a misunderstanding, surely a case of a slip of the thumb... Should the price read £100?

I mean, for a grand, you'd hope at least for bar tape... And something better than a pair of worn rd2s to hold your pedals....
-
• #23
those are totally different wheels buddy, mine are clinchers with non paired spokes (which are crap) once i upload more pics you can have a closer look. Those are a special build which i doubt you can find for sale let alone for 400-600 quid ;)

bar tape is so yesterday dude...
Hi, i have for sale my T1 which i've pimped out quite a bit . I don't really ride it so i've decided to let it go.
The frame is a proper Track geo, with a straight bladed carbon fork and aero tubing. I've put some carbon rimmed wheels on it - Bontrager Aeolus, and a carbon bull horn bar - Bontrager RXL carbon aerobar.
Stem- Bonty RL 75mm, 25deg
Saddle: Bonty RXL
Seatpost: Bonty carbon wrap
Brakes: Sram caliper + Bonty aero lever
Cranks (Miche) are the only things that let this build down a bit but they are still ok.
Gear ratio is 50 - 15 and the chain is the Tank chain - setup for real men.
If you're interested or want more pics let me know - i'll try to upload some more pics later on becouse the ones i have are a bit shit... at least you'll have an idea how it looks
1000 squids for this bad boy - boom!
