the chiltern cycle route

I was thinking of using the chiltern cycle route from amersham to hitchin then on to cambridge. Has anyone got ridden the chiltern cycle route ? Any advice ? Cheers

It's funny, but me and a buddy are thinking of doing the lot in one day....170, hilly miles! Bringing our bivvys and doss bags in case though :0)
