Cannondale 2.8 restoration / modern bits

This has inspired me to dig an r1000 polished frame out of the garden. If I remember correctly there is something non standard about the head set size(And mine needs a headset)Can anyone confirm this?

Mine was a 93 R900 and had 1 1/4" head tube - near impossible to find a replacement headset - I settled on using a reducer I got off ebay which reduced the head tube down to 1 1/8 to take a standard headset and 1 1/8" fork.
