Word of wisdom with old 'Dales (this may or may not apply to other alu frames) - they have more 'snap' when they're new. 10+ years of riding and any race activity will suck some life from them.
Might well make them more comfy as a result, but it does mean you might get a bit more 'whip' in the BB area.
