  • And a nicer group^ ;-)

    Absolute win, fantastic bike!

  • really nice!

i only don't like the rear cabeling, looks like you will destroy that on your first crash or in a deep forest with bushes and trees.

  • great bike!

Wow so not having an electronic groupset and 4130 frame means 3kg less ;)

  • Rogan, yes I took a bit of inspiration from your project, the tyres were a blatant copy!

Eingang, I do agree with you, kinda regret it now not having internal routing for the rear mech. The bow doesn't look good but I do think it'll be safe.

    Thanks for the comments anyhow.

  • Nice! If you want to remove the cable bow swap the mech for equivalent MTb type - x9 / xo etc. Although they are 10 speed mechs they can work with force 22 but ymmv.

    Are they iron cross rims?

  • yes they are, a real pain to mount tyres on!

  • Also easy to blow the tyre off the rim if you go beyond 40psi - be careful :)

  • Sweeeet

  • Today I went to the woods and took a few shots of it.

  • Just lovely!! Added to my list of favourite forum bikes.

  • Ritchey pedals?

  • yes! v5

  • enjoy the tyres while theyre not mucky brown ;D

  • discs innit

  • It's awesome to ride, it feels like a 40km/h mountain bike.

I'm always restraining myself from pulling wheelies and nose wheelies with the brakes.

  • Mother of god that's nice.

  • What is it primarily going to be used for? CX racing or super fancy year round all terrain road bike?

  • For now it's going to be a sunday bike, I'm most of the days on the road bike.

It's going to be the recovery day bike.

Come september it will be a full on Cx bike, I might even buy some chinese crabon tubulars to destroy in the races.

  • How do you rate the hy/rd then?

    Bike looks truly excellent btw!

  • This is my first time on discs but I have to say they give you lots of confidence.

I haven't tried the Avid ones but these ones surely work, there is lots of modulation and the levers do travel quite a bit in comparison with rim brakes, but I have it so that it locks at half way through between lever and bar.

I haven't really done any long descents so I don't know anything in that matter.
I'll write a few words when I have more k's on it.

  • Boa montagem. Gosto muito ;)

  • It got to prolly's website, so grateful.
