• The problem with reddit is that every subreddit on a certain subject is filled with a mass of people who only have a fleeting interest in the subject.
    The result is that the top posts and comments are generally decided by the uninformed mass that is the majority userbase. It seems that subreddits have an optimum amount of subscribers and once that number is surpassed, the content takes a nosedive.

    Edit, and don't get me started on the sexism, psuedo-liberalism ("I'm so liberal yet incredibly intolerant at the same time"), racism and every other degenerate red flag.

    /r/trees stays pretty on topic and is as PLUR as these things get. /r/treesgonewild is a lol idea like there was enough gonewilding in /r/trees to make a big subreddit.
