Nice one Bristol, stirling work as usual. Shouts out to the top 4 and bad luck Ali and Ed, I think things would have been different if Seb could've made it. Good times. Keep it Peregrine.

Wow some really nice art in there
(and a few that remind me why I don't have any tats! ;) -

but I didn't need to go when I was in the shop.
Thanks Bristol!

Slippery court? No Alcohol? The standard is falling...
Seriously though, can someone post the results with the names of the players in each team? Hard to understand without the regulars like BAD Polo and Rotten Apples...

You can see who was on a team in the podium links, just click on the team.

I really enjoyed this weekend for a lot of the same reasons already listed. It was great to see so many old faces and really nice to see some new ones too.
Thanks Bristol for the great hospitality and to Fufu and Mads for being such chill and awesome teammates and for letting me be the third titty! Best kit prize goes to Mya (and Kat)! You were missed, but with you this couldn't have happened ;)
Time for some fair weather summer polo!

Thanks for a good weekend everyone! Though I feel Saturdays hard work was erased by my saturday nights antics :D.

Someone remarked on facebook that standing behind the goals was silly. But that person didn't get to witness Badger flying towards them, smashing through the net and immediately asking if it was a goal... Funniest/scariest moment of the tournament.
There was a camera on the goal - hopefully it comes out.

That's going to look so good.

It was a shuffle ;)
(is the beagle wink still a thing?)

Thank you all for such a fun weekend. Congrats to Mondial for the title. Big up to Robbie and utmost respect to RV! Personally not sure about the unlimited goals for the final, the early 4-1 lead to Peregrine would have put more pressure onto Mondial (not that they can't handle it!) and might have produce a different play. Great polo throughout regardless !

If it was a shuffle do we need to replay the tournament?
Would be well up for that. Awesome weekend.

Big thank you to Bristol, it was a great tournament.
Great to see UK teams looking so strong.
It was awesome to watch and play Peregrine, a team full of MVP performances imo.Particular kudos to Cameron and Mat, both getting on the UKC podium for the fourth time. Must be the most consistent high level acheivement of any UK players.

Thanks Bristol for stepping up! Rubbish weather but hey ho. Great to see a load of UK scenes and new ones like Barrymore boys and Glasgow travelling down with there sniper shot's!
Who is stepping up for next years? Maybe were have a UKBPA by then? Is it London's turn? Is it Manchester's turn? Is it Glasgow's? Who is going to bring back a boozy UKchamps festival stylee with some huge courts, great boards and surface? I think everyone wants decisions made earlier for sure!

Love that you did this Cam.
Todd's ink is still by far my favourite.

Thank you Bristol for making the UK Champs happen.
Going forward, a fledgling UKHBPA needs to get a grip on longer term tournament planning ASAP and be able to provide smaller/less prepared scenes with enough support and resources to encourage the development of a robust UK polo calendar for 2015.
There's still something a tad unreliable about finals formatting with regard to bringing a tournament to a fitting climax. Although court conditions undoubtedly played a part, it seemed a strangely subdued ending IMHO. Maybe the lack of engagement from the spectator point of view came from, as has been said, the lack of tension through the unlimited goals format? Trying to manufacture 40 minutes + of the best polo at the end of a very long day seems a big ask for players and spectators alike.

Big thanks to Bristol for stepping up this year. Great times on & off the court. Props to mondial for the win and my team mates who were both outstanding all weekend and the Warins for housing us.

^^^^ This
Someone please tell me that was on camera, amazing goal/notagoalHad an amazing weekend, even the weather was good (though it was sunny in Glasgow all weekend!), shame about the slippy court though managed to stay upright long enough to score goals and finish the tournament in a decent position.
Shouts out and thanks to the organisers (Paddy, Richard, Cob and laptop girl (sorry I missed your name!) and the others behind the scenes) , probably the most organised and on time tournament ever. Special thanks to Richard for putting up with the 3 of us in his house over the weekend, he even cooked us dinner! 5* would stay again.
Hopefully see most of you at the next tournament (Manchester?), and your all invited to the next S.H.I.T - "The Floater" - ferries, islands, beach bbq breakfast, 10 mile polo bike time-trial, serial golf course trespass, fish & chips and possibly a polo tournament, did I mention it was on an island?
Also I owe someone some money! PM me fella and I'll get you paid :D

Huge props to all in Bristol for hosting the UK Champs, good times. Tournament ran very smoothly and Roll for the Soul was a nice little venue. Bring-and-buy should be at every tournament.
Great to see so many new teams and some old faces, looks like it's going to be an interesting season. Loved the contrast between Mondial and Perigrine playing styles, well done to both.
On a side note I noticed that podium hasn't ranked teams for Sunday. It could be because Channel No5 and Polo Sabor is missing a score???
We bumped into him at some services on the way back, looking shocked and upset the petrol station didn't sell beer... We donated a sports ale and watched him run off into the bushes behind the shop for a slash, despite being in the aforementioned shop with full bathroom facilities only moments before.
