My wife and I have our differences, but we were the least argumentative couple on a tandem out of a large group of friends that rented one way back. It was a recumbent version though, so the view was much improved over a standard.

At least 55 people on Reddit saw that image and said "yes, I like that, in fact I like it so much I'm going to give it an upvote".

The users of r/bicycling have some of the worst taste on earth, and that's when they're not bemoaning 'hipster fixie riders who don't wear helmets and never leave the city'.

There's a difference between all gold/black bikes are crap looking (my initial statement) AND 95% are crap looking as their owners have to take it over the top (my correction) due to gold anodizing (too much of it), gold plating etc.

I realize it's a bit blanket, like saying all yellow / orange bikes are anti. No all or nothing allowed? Fair enough, I shall refrain from all or nothing statements then.
