Hate taped extensions. Agree about the cable though.

What's the difference between the two? Shorter nose?
Inner tubes on the extensions?

Tasty.

Not really sure tbh. It's firmer.
The Zipp extensions have a rough surface, but I've never bothered with anything grippy on the extensions, bare hands work fine.

cloth tape? bike looks great, you been racing much yet this season?
-
• #232
Haven't done an open yet or raced this bike, racing Good Friday though. How's your season going?

Needs bar tape.
Inner tubes on the extensions?
cloth tape?
If you need more grip on the extensions, your position is probably wrong.

Only just started really, done two 10s, and the first of our clubs tt league, but already broken last years PBs!

Saw this on r/fixedgearbicycle earlier, liking the planet x frame

I used some zinc medical tape on extensions, so if hands get sweaty they don't slide on them. Better than bare metal.
Looks nice.

Taking the tester's line there, 2m out from the kerb?

Yeah, totally. If only I could spend more time on my TT bike to sort it out...
Taped extensions are better. For one, Di2 pods look wrong if the extensions are not taped and if you do any races long enough where eating is required, having a bit of grip when you're hitting potholes while unwrapping food and steering with a finger or two is something something not my bike whatevers

Looks nice.Yeah, this is especially true if you ride bare-handed (which I don't generally but might in shorter stuff).

Which track is that?

Palmer Park in Reading.

Ah. For some reason I thought you were Leicester based, and got hopeful that there was one somewhere near enough to use.

I am in term time, I'm back in Reading for the holidays. There is this, never been though, and of course Derby will be open soon.
I've been, not during opening times though. The lack of banking just looks a bit strange.
Derby soon, hopefully.
I was looking at Halesowen in B'ham, but its just a bit far from Notts. -

Why no slavespoke?
It was only evening training, didn't want to look like an uber full kit douchebag.

Considering you used my tap on your Hed3 axle as well, I should get an executive producer credit on this project :-)

Looks like it goes reasonably quick, managed a 3 second pb this morning (21:54) even with crap form and illness. Very little racing until June now.
Needs bar tape and some cable cutters.
