• This warranty can be transferred to a new owner as long as they contact VN and pay 150 euros or something? Need to confirm this.

Below is the details from the Van Nicolas website, just wondering if...

    1. You are the original owner?
    2. If not do you have a warranty certificate from Van Nicholas?

The majority of bicycle manufacturers warranties are only effective for the lifetime of the original owner. Traditionally this standard is used to decrease product liability risks involved in "used" bike sales from consumer to consumer. Van Nicholas now introduces a Titanium Frame Warranty Re-Certification Program, whereby consumers who are looking to sell or purchase a used Van Nicholas titanium bicycle or frame can send it directly to our office. Van Nicholas will inspect the frame for any potential damage or problems and ship the product back to the consumer with a new manufacturer's warranty. This is to be done by having the original owner send the bike to our office. This policy is to protect the second hand buyer against purchasing a damaged frame. Re-certification cost is $150/EUR€125. This fee includes return shipping charges.
