I'm intrigued as to why there hasn't been more interest in this so far despite the generous comments from fellow forumengers above.
It's the saddle, isn't it?
Or is it the price?
Tell you what. Instead of being greedy with my Flite, I will now offer a choice of three saddles. You can have the well-used Selle Italia Flite Transalp shown, a brand new Selle Italia Turbo, or a used San Marco Rolls, which suits the black and gold build really nicely.
I will also drop the price slightly, and offer it for £370.
Any more interest?

I reckon it's cos you never said what chain is on it.

What chain is on it?

I'm going to guess it's a sram PC1x.
-
• #31
No actually it's fancier than that.
-
• #32
Ah, that's must be it.
I can't remember exactly which it is, but it's either a Wippermann or a KMC.

Maybe you should spray it fixie skidder pink?

Maybe there's no interest because you are destined to keep it...

If the sale is non-urgent - I will be in London in mid-April and need a bike while I am there. This would be perfect.
Have just joined the thread after being on the equivalent in Australia for a while so am still rolling around in "the Nursery" - if it hasn't sold before I am out I will PM you.
Cheers,
Will. -

Welcome to the forum.
It is non-urgent but if it didn't sell by the 8th I was going to take it to my parents' place as I have too many bikes at mine at the moment so I need the space. If you can give me some guarantee that you're definitely interested I can keep it down here till mid-April. Is it likely to fit you alright?

Cheers. An L would be better but the XL will still be fine (6ft, long legs and the reach is not that long).
I am interested but I don't want you to change your plans as there is a slim chance I may need to change dates for work. I don't want to jerk you around by not being able to collect - I know how frustrating that is.

I'm happy to find a way of keeping it down in London if you think there's a chance you'd want it, it's a matter of space and need, not money that's making me want to sell it, and taking it back by train is a hassle anyway.
I'll aim to keep it in London until mid-April, happy to keep it aside for you if you confirm you'll definitely be coming, otherwise I'll see if it sells before then. Any time you're ready to commit let me know and I can keep it aside.

If you need somewhere to keep it it might be worth asking Adeline mate, as long as its short term

I'd love this [in small]. It's exactly what I am after. Sorry to be another annoying compliment without a sale ;)

Remember this? It could be yours.
£365, or just one pound a day (not a valid payment schedule).
That's mad, just stop buying a newspaper and read it online, and get a bike instead!

Bump!

Cheers Tom. I'm considering Ebay now, it doesn't seem like it's going to sell here and I'm pretty resolved that I do want rid of it for something geared.

Does this have all the gubbins/guides etc for an alfine hub?
-
• #45
Though I'm not completely sure what sort of guides it would need, there are definitely spare cable guides to the rear dropouts. I also know that Planet-X/On-One sold them as complete builds with Alfine hubs so it must be ready to go with an Alfine.
I made the saddle angle slightly more accomodating and took it along the Lea River path to Roydon today, the bike is an absolute delight at 9mph average.

I have one of these, awesome bikes. GLWS

The frameset is sold pending collection, and almost all of the other bits are accounted for for my new build.
Thanks!
I'm in Tottenham, but I won't be there again until tomorrow evening. Test rides, viewings etc welcome if we can arrange a time.
