I'm interested - but any clue on what frame size the medium corresponds to? I'm looking for something that would suit someone 5'4", so a 50/51cm frame? Thanks.

My girlfriend is 5.9" (i think) and it fits her well. I haven't measured the frame unfortunately.
The bike is in Angel / Highbury & Islington if you want to have a test spin.
EDIT: no sure what sizing guides apply for a town bike but I'm pretty sure it's not the same as a road/tark bike.

I'd move on with the sale, some folk don't seem to have the urgency deserving of a decent lady town bike. bump and GLWS

Hey, I'm looking for something that would suit someone who is 5'2", so think this might be a bit big... but would still be interested in a test ride on Saturday if possible to make sure?

It is indeed still available. Would you like to have a test spin? The bike is based on Forest Hill now and available to inspect in the evenings or weekends.

Hi CheBeef, do you know the make of the bike
Cheers

There is no makers marks on the bike. I understand that it was purchased from a website like Made.com or some such.

CheBeef, I am new and can t PM yet but looking for something like this and the size fits. A couple of quick questions: does is have one of those nice Ditch back wheel locks and does it come with working front and back lights? I will get back to you by tomorrow on a firm offer and could pick up on Sunday.

Hey Viv, The bike doesn't have a back wheel lock, I know the type you mean but I don't they would be much use in London anyways.
The front and rear lights work from a dynamo and in good working order.
A sunday visit would be fine, we're in Forest Hill. post a few more times and you can PM.

selling elsewhere.**
My girlfriend is selling her Dutch town bike in order to find something more suited for longer rides.
The frame is in good condition with a few paint scratches here and there as can be expected for a town bike. The saddle is leather and sprung, there is front and rear lights running on a dynamo. The chain guard has just been realigned and a new bottom bracket fitted. At the back is a kick stand and rack with sprung arm.
£155 ono
Test spin in Forest Hill, collection only in and around London.
Photos coming.
