More than that I'd have thought looking at the parts, although will admit to knowing nothing about the frame apart from I can see crabonz

Okay thanks (presuming that was aimed at me)
Sorry I was speaking about the Shimano groupset :)

I would say no

How much would you say it was worth?

Whats the going rate for a pair of Campag Ventos these days? I've seen them selling for £150 to over double that on eBay in the past. 16 spoke 9/10-speed versions.
-
• #1583
£150-£190 depends on cassette/hubs/skewers/tyres and rim wear.

• #1584
On here.
Ebay possibly over the £200 mark.

• #1585
Good condition and 9/10 compatible, definitely over that on the bay.
Lush wheels and I'd be PMing if only I had any cash money

About £180-200 is the going rate.
Remember, these are not Shamals which command a higher selling price.

Ah yes my mistake
-
• #1590
Are shamals fundamentally better or just more popular?
-
• #1591
Shamal are deeper than Vento which are deeper than Zonda; Shamal use Record hubs, Vento Chorus and Zonda...?
I'm struggling to remember the deets: I did have bookmarked a review from 1997/8 or so, that gave the full run down.
Either way, yes Shamal are better than Vento, which are better than Zonda.

Complete VGC Veloce 8 speed group sans brakes that's Chorus Monoplanar, how much would that fetch here?

Hi All
I have a 1 inch Time millennium stiff plus carbon fork (carbon steerer) in excellent condition no scratches or dings which I got on a bike I bought for other parts. I think this will be surplus to requirements unless I put it on my faithful old Raleigh 501 bike (although I am unsure if this is a good idea!)
Any idea on value?
Many thanks in anticipation
Jon

Apologies for big pictures, if anyone could give an indication as to price it'd be much appreciated.

Had this lying around in my garage for over a year. Decals say Di Maso. Can't find anything on the internet about them, only seen a track version sold on here last year and that was for around £200. Made of aluminium, weights about 1kg, 27.2mm seat tube. It good condition except for a few marks. Any idea on how I should price it?

An aluminium road frame? Planet X are selling them for £50.
With neither the romance of steel nor the cachet of carbon, it's an also-ran as a material for road bikes: only Tour De Tesco BSO come ally flavoured these days.
When was the last time you saw an ally bike posted in any of the porn threads, or had a CP thread dedicated to it?
