If anybody would be kind enough to donate anything at all to a great cause or offer any advice, either on the route, equipment or fundraising it'd be greatly appreciated!

  • Caen to Évreux is a lovely day, we accidentally took a tow path for about 8 miles coming into Caen (I did it other way round) but it was really pleasant.

  • Sweet! I'm looking forward to it so much.

  • Caen to Paris was a pretty epic ride with me and my mate, was pretty much flat all the way (maybe some TT-ing?) though if I remember correctly that Sunday most shops in France was closed so I guess stock up at Portsmouth before you head over! Have fun mate!

  • Flat's good! I can see our competitiveness getting out of hand, ha ha. Good tip about stocking up in Portsmouth, thanks for that.

This was pretty much our route, some epic flats, but also some wick downhills!!!! From what I can remember the best thing about the route was how smooth the roads were! =)

  • Thanks HoKe, looks like a decent route! I'll show it to the others.

  • So far I've raised about £125 which is a good start but if anyone has any tips for raising more they'd be appreciated!

  • looks ideal HoKe. Loz get that route in your garmin!

  • If by garmin you mean maps printed off the internet.....

  • So far we've raised about half of what we were aiming for which is a good start. If anyone has any tips for raising more, let me know!

  • A quick update, we've raised nearly £400, any tips for making up the extra £100 we were aiming for would be great!

  • target every single person from the place you work/ study, see them face to face. good luck

  • you guys should meet some friends of mine who are doing bournemouth- berlin end of april
