  • Don't know about the brake. It had already gone past me by the time I spotted it. Black rims though

  • seraphinx on the OKR early this evening - exchanged waves while a self-righteous tabarded twerp waiting just in front of me made some sarcastic comment about jumping red lights (which I don't think you were doing) before doing precisely that himself

  • Belated spot of hats on Walworth road this evening

  • Dom outside kinoko today, good to see you, enjoy holland!

  • DASd Dull or someone very much resembling him on Camden Road, did not receive skid but I was walking and quite far away.

Funnily enough, I actually wasn't ! (I have been known to on.. occasion ¬_¬

I sort of went for a cheery Hey! too but I realise I was probably too quiet for all that traffic around us and when I've got my headphones in I never have any idea what kind of volume I'm exuding anyway...

holla. Was me, was riding home on Camden Road a bit ago, did not hear your DAS though!
    IOU 1 skid.

  • Did I spot jonny in de beauvoir this morning? it's been so long I couldnt be sure..

  • Nice to roll with Samson this morning.

  • BrakleZZ Mash bolt Brentford...on here?

  • Just seen a chap with an old Cannondale Track in Can Wharf. Nice bike sir.

  • Fellow steel framed langdale rider doing a lap of the park, said he was on here but didn't catch his name. Such a nice bike, No helmet or bar tape thou?

  • I haven't fitted a helmet to my bike either.

  • Does anyone commute through Hyde Park to Mayfair, i never spot anyone :(

I go through Hyde Park to Marble Arch usually between 8:30am and 9am. I pootle quite slowly through there as it's pretty much the end of my commute and I like to chill out a bit. I'm on white Fuji, blue and white helmet with a Simon's Cat sticker on it.

  • a Simon's Cat sticker

This has really made me chuckle.

  • d'awww

  • Yeah it's well sad but he's positioned in such a way that it looks like he is playing with any hair that pokes through the holes at the top, yep even sadder.

  • Saw an old boy (60+) on a giant omnium, slack chaining through Moorgate.

  • I haven't fitted a helmet to my bike either.

thats how you do it right?

  • Tosser on some purple fixed riding straps on Albion Rd about 15 mins ago.
Keep these easy to remember points in mind when navigating London's famous London:

    • Look over your shoulder, when pulling out from behind a bus, and when maneuvering when lanes merge. I muttered "Good thing I looked out for you" (to myself!) after I had to accommodate for your nonchalance twice in the space of 20m of road.
    • Don't give it large to strangers when you have no idea what they've initially said to you. Especially when you don't know: who that person is, how they were raised, what kinda day they've had, or just how likely they are fuck you up on the spot at that given point in time.

    :)

Just to add that I'm definitely no saint. (Then again I don't go chasing after people cruising home after a shitty day on a 97+ GI just to call them a "fucking coward", on top of a bunch of other inaudible insults that I could barely hear over the din of the wind either)

  • Wrong thread for that kinda thing.

  • Because I left a comma off the final sentence so it reads back oddly?

  • a sick fixie crew bombing along great eastern st last night, one nearly got taken out by some dickhead in a little white micro car pulling a fucked up 3 point turn out of queueing traffic. rider did a little loop in the road to pull along side the driver and shake his head in disapproval.

That would be Jevi of Edmeston Close Fixie Skidders fame.

  • Because I left a comma off the final sentence so it reads back oddly?

No, not that. Not that at all.

  • Back on thread, this morning, blue and purpley pink Giant frame from lea bridge road through to dalton junction.... Drafting that wagon was pretty fun, short but good exchanges dude, hope you had a good day.
