I need some new pads for my V brakes. What's usually recommended as the best value for money? It's for a folder (20" Wheels) if that makes any difference... I used to use clarks, they're really cheap at sub £5 for pair of brake pads and spare cartridges and fairly stoppy and hard wearing.

Wiggle do reasonably cheap cartridge V brake pads and road pads under their "Lifeline" brand. Probably manufactured by Ashima.
