hats and poots, would love you two to share the secretary role if you wanted it, but one of you will need to be the main person as even if you delegate things amongst yourself and share the tasks the point of a committee is to be able to say that there is a person who will ultimately be responsible for a given role.
In reality that means that one of you will be the secretary and that you then delegate and share any tasks with the other club member. It's fine for you to take on the secretary role on that understanding, but a role needs a single person to officially fill it and be responsible for it even if you choose to share/delegate any tasks.
