Having been riding around with these (the 'fixed' model) for a week, thought I'd add my first impressions to the pile.
They are very well made, and the leather is nice and soft. As Ed explained above, you should be okay even with the kind of large, flat feet I have as long as you follow the online size charts (for reference, their 45 fits my size 10 feet well). They take about a day to stretch a little then feel very comfortable.
The sole is extremely stiff and shaped much like that of a modern road shoe despite the lack of a cleat. This is obviously beneficial when desperately mashing at the pedals on a hill but does mean they're not exactly a shoe for wearing all day, although if your workday involves nothing more strenuous than the odd trip to the coffee machine they should pass muster. Note that anyone hoping to use these with flat pedals should think twice as I expect they would slip fairly easily.
All in all I like them. A bit pricey but you do get something well put together, if you can handle the idea of a shoe without any cleat fitting ability whatsoever.
PS. Your toe clips will scuff the leather on the toes within microseconds, but you knew that and bought some leather covered clips, didn't you?
