Proper selvedge jeans

Denim heads,can I dry clean selvedge?

Pair in question are Lee 101b. Had first (cold machine) wash after maybe 3 or 4 months of rotation with a couple of other pairs. I then wore them another couple, then forgot them in a locker for a few weeks so they're now all musty and grim.

Dry clean safe?

Bath tub them with cold water and then leave on a trouser hanger outside.

They don't sound dirty so cold wash and fresh air is probably all they need. You could also steam them with an iron with something nice smelling in
