In response to a request, you are right, you can't see the small dent in the photo's, the handlebar is in the way!
It is small and shallow, on the right side of the top tube, but you cannot see it in the first thee pics as it is not that visible anyway. Put it in the advert to be completely honest and I do not notice it any more at all.

Mind putting the size of the frame?
You're my same height, but would be nice to know some measurements. Thanks!
As you know I've PM'd you about it, will confirm soon if I'll take it (probably though!)

Hi mate. It is 55cm square. I have replied to your pm.
After a false start last weekend (as I had it advertised elsewhere) here we have my beautiful Carlton Professional 531 single-speed for sale for £300
I built this single-speed last summer, but have not ridden it much as I currently have five bikes! So hopefully the new owner can get lots of use from it.
The pictures should speak for themselves and this is a great example of a beautifully restored frame with quality new parts and running gear.
Full specs are:
Carlton Professional 531 frame and forks built in Worksop in June 1979 professionally sand blasted and powder-coated in metallic blue. Size is 55cm c to c on both seat tube and top tube. Set up as in the pics for me at 5’ 10". There is a very small dent in top-tube which you can see in the pics.
New Brooks Professional Saddle
New Brooks leather bar tape on grips
New Richey Pro bar (55cm)
New Shimano Tiagra levers
New Sturmey Archer single crank-set (44T)
Refurbed Shimano 600 brakes with new inner and outer cables
MZ14 Clincher Sun Rims in excellent condition with Formula Large Flange Hubs [FONT=Arial]–/FONT and DT Swiss spokes - 32 spoke front and rear
Continental Ultra Sport tyres in very good condition
I'll give it a week on here before eBay and if it sells will make a suitable donation to the site.
If you have any questions then please ask away.
Bike and myself are in East Yorkshire, but will package up with care if you want to organise your own courier. (That way you are covered by their insurance)
