Hey,
I’m posting this in here to help get exposure for the fundraising :~)
I’m cycling from Land’s End to John O’Groats solo when I get back to the UK in the summer. Late last year I did London-Glasgow on a track bike which was about 400 miles - this will be almost 1000 miles (but will be on a road bike). I’m going to do it on my own over the span of about two weeks and will be sleeping out in the wild or at friends’ places. I’m hoping for a lack of rain and head winds so well-wishes are appreciated. Any tips would be cool too!
I’ve chosen to raise some money for Rape Crisis which is a UK-based charity supporting survivors and raising awareness. I felt it was important to use the trip to do something positive for those who need support in our community. I’ve set a target of £1000 which equates to roughly £1 per mile - so if you want do donate then think of it as how many miles you want do sponsor me for. The response has been awesome as there has been just over £100 raised so far. Don’t worry if you can’t give much (even just £1 is fab) - supportive words are pretty good too!
If you could help me spread the message of my fund-raising that would be awesome.
Thank you for reading! :+)
