Everyone knows that this season was going to see a wide open title race, what with United, City and Chelsea all having new managers. Liverpool have done well, but let's not get too excited about how brilliant they've been just yet.
I'm still staggered a defence as poor as theirs is in with a shout of the title.
Against the top teams our defence has not been too bad. Zero conceded against United and Spurs (definition of top being stretched) zero at home to Everton, the derby at Goodison is another matter. Two away at City and Chelsea respectively. One at home to Arsenal where it no longer mattered and two away on a day we are poor.
It is against the lesser teams who go all out to attack that we have played a score more than them philosophy.
