My homemade seatpost ended up failing, so I bought a Thomson seatpost. Really the only nice seatpost available in 26.8
It's more or less done now. I have ridden it ca. 1000 km and I love it.
I might choose to paint it when I get the hang of painting frames myself. But the chrome holds up great for now. I also want a nicer wheelset eventually and a pair of full carbon forks.
