I like the detail shown in the last picture, as a whole it looks very competent but it's not visually arresting.
Or, rather, possibly not arresting enough to get the mad props of which the yoot do speak these days.
Too much gin.
It's understated and lovely, in fact it looks like your Serrota, gone rural.

It's pure porny filth as far as I'm concerned (apart from the white bits, which I'd have in black to actually ride it), but I'm sure somebody will be along to piss on my chips shortly. I even think that chainset looks good on it.

White's (a bit) less of a nightmare for a crosser, it gets a proper wash after each ride.

Tbh I've never been a fan of white tape, and really really do not like white saddles.
Wife's A-C Space Horse has white LizardSkins DSP tape. Not easy to keep clean, at all. Appears to be turning yellowy-orange. -

It'll never need a wash until it magically grows pedals. For once I don't give a flying fuck about the technicalities, it looks good. Won't ever get dirty though.....

Do you seriously think so? You think people are commissioning ~$10k 'cross bikes as wallhangers? Really?
You'd be forgiven (or perhaps not) for forming the same preconception about this bike, but guess what - it gets ridden practically every day, on the trails it was built for. When you get to this level of handmade bikes, it's a pretty small world. Go out riding with any fashionable* builder or shop in the US and you will almost certainly see 'internet famous NAHBS wank' being ridden properly.*Think what you like about current fashion versus decades of hard-earned reputation, these are the bikes that are filling your screen daily. It works the same on both sides of the pond. I genuinely think framebuilding is in an amazing place right now.

I await the slightly decorative dust (in a photogenic setting) pictures with interest.

Well done Mr B, I love that machine, minus the white contact points. The rear canti cabling is inspired, I've never seen it before.

I'm sure it will get some of that spray on mud-in-a-can that cunts use on their Range Rovers.

That Bishop looks bloody gorgeous. I also do not normally like white contact points, but on this they do seem to work. The cable runs are spot on, and the build is perfect. Lush.

Digging that.

change the stem, lose the pie plate cassette, bin the gumwalls and it would be nice.
-
• #84793
Nice! I really like the look of gum walls on deep carbons, breaks up the black a bit IMHO
-
• #84794
bin the gumwalls
They will probably look a bit less shouty after it has been caned along a few muddy farm roads.

6.56kgs is nothing to write home about, Shirley??
Ah is that an Alloy frame? Fair play, if so.

Parlee only makes carbonfibre frames

Not really, but if he'd been going for an all out weenie build it wouldn't be that colour.

^also an M/L or L frame (equivalent in z0 terms) so quite a good weight for di2 / rotor build.

DA9070 with an internal battery is the lightest group set Shimano makes. So if you were going for light weight it makes more sense to use this than DA9000 mechanical.

Parlee is pure sex.
Its nice to see one in colour for once. There are way to many dull black or clear carbon ones. (I'd choose lambo green)
Surprisingly I really dig the colour coded stem and post. Its definitely the first time I've seen one of those fugles evne stems look good ... but that's probably the angle.
