unfortunately totally wrong restoration.
missing chrome on fork crown, dropouts, head tube lugs and seattube lug. Wrong decals and wrong head badge. -

It's a good job in my opinion. The price reflects the lack of chrome etc
Price is based on completed listings such as the white one here with no chrome and a repaint that went for £948
http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=cinelli+pista+frame&LH_Complete=1&rt=ncIt's not used since refurb and is a good looking 60's Cinelli Pista ready to build and ride. And the price is open to discussion

the Cinelli frame you've linked has Cinelli headset (really rare), the correct headbadge, cinelli track stem and handlebars and track cottered bottom bracket. Sounds different.
Now, we need to understand what "a good job" stands for. In my opinion, a good job means correct frame colour/chromed scheme, decals and headbadge -

Carlo, leave him alone. I'm not sure what you're trying to achieve here.

I think it all depends on how much you value this 'good job' (i.e. what you compare this good job to, proper restoration matching catalog fully or not)
It was priced accordingly at least. I can't say how much I'd value it as I do have the competence for that.
Curious, though, how much you think would be this frame worth given its current state.

Sorry yes didn't spot the extras on the white one, but there are other examples of prices on that page to compare to. I think it's a good effort of a refurb with one or to things to be desired. As always i'm open to offers.

Looks a pretty decent deal to me. Carlo obviously disagrees, but thats his opinion.
We are all adults here so why don't we just let potential buyers make their own minds up rather than harping on about what we think is best?Looks lovely Ben, GLWS....

Thanks Chris. It looks really good in the flesh. Carlo did you bid on the white one?

I didn't bid on that one 'cause shipping cost was tremendous high. Anyway I'd like to clarify and say that you have a beautiful frameset, bad restored but really beautiful

I'm not interested in, is too big for me
This Cinelli Pista frame is from 1963 ish, as evidenced by the lug shape as shown in the Kitching 1963 catalogue. The 1960 catalogue shows a different lug shape.
It has been refurbished in the correct wine red for this date. A modern reproduction head badge (expensive) has been added. NOS Campagnolo Record headset fitted.
