EHBPA - European Hardcourt Bike Polo Association

Hi everyone,

I'm Jason from France, I am working on organising European Bike Polo Association, and to do so, I need to gather information on every single cities in Europe. The task is huge and I did my best with what's available on League of Bike Polo, now I need your help.

There are few things:
Share this emails with all city representatives that you know from your own country or small countries around yours. We have to gather information on every city.
Share it on Facebook, to your national forums, to your representatives.
I don't have any contacts in particular for Denmark, Luxembourg, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Slovakia, Serbia and Turkey.

And, IF ONLY you are a representative(elected or not) of your CITY, please fill in the google form available here:
(If few representatives exists, please coordinate with them to give one answer)

This is how the European Committee would work if European majority accept.
Lot of players support the format I'm proposing, around Europe (see https://leagueofbikepolo.com/forum/organizing-polo/2011/01/07/european-polo-association-discussion-have-your-say )
Even if you don't agree, please fill in the form to have information about your city, to facilitate European coordination.

This is the first stone of what will coordinate European Bike Polo with other international entities, to create a European ruleset, to organise EHBPC.

Just got informed on this by Finn, will fill it out later (Oslo) and send it on to people I know in Trondheim and Linköping (Sweden).

I have Messaged Dublin bike polo Facebook page.

Still waiting for an answer from Oslo and Sweden.

United Kingdom (4/22 on LoBP) - Canterbury, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow

Come on people, everyone moans about nothing getting done to form European body and yet only 4 cities in the UK have completed a simple form that takes 5 minutes.

As it's been 4 weeks, can someone explain what the current state is please?

Possibilities, in order of legitimacy:

• Fuck knows, we've all been busy playing fucking awesome polo
  
• LHBPA constitution requires certain actions to be taken and periods to be allowed before post can be created and an officer chosen.
  
• Same, but people aren't replying, aren't attending, so selection is delayed (if stakeholders haven't bothered yet, can you declare them to have abstained or surrendered their stake and get on with it?)
  
• Some kind of internal LHBPA power struggle
  
• Some kind of LHBPA vs LPC power struggle
  
  
  

As a non-Londoner, I don't care who you choose or why, but I do hope the London rep is:

• Reliable
  
• Trustworthy
  
• Supported by London players
  
• Chosen soon
  

TLDR for that ^:
Not my business, but it's been a while and I don't mind waiting if it means EHA gets the right London rep.

I'll butt out now, sorry if I'm upsetting anyone.

Part if the reason is the use of negative questions, ie "does any one have a problem with it being Badger and Tim?" No one replies... Everyone is happy and forgets as the thread slips off the radar.

But also a bit of LHBPA consitution... We've not had an official meeting (nore planned to have one) in the last 4 weeks, so all official communication has been on the forum and it's not exactly a high traffic part of the site.

Finally point one also stands, all the people for whom Europe is really relevant are out playing polo and having a life away from the Internet.

Fuck yeah bike polo.
