Ah, Mack - thanks. Had forgotten. Isn't he notorious for mystery and long waits on orders?

6 to 8 weeks. Dunno about his que at the moment.

If you'll accept 4 more spokes, Tensile LF hubs are £50 a pair, black, Fixed/free, sealed bearing, come with the bolts and a lockring.

I was originally going to do a standard 32h build but I'm buying some cheaper than normal 28h Archetypes - hence the sudden search for 28h hubs. I suspect the hub cost is outweighing the savings on the rims.

The Novatecs are legit I believe.
They look great for the price and I'm sure I've seen some folks bikes with them on here. -

Was going to suggest Surly Ultra New hubs but they have too many holes.

Victoire ? http://victoire-cycles.com/en/parts/hubs.html
Only one thread, though. And maybe a bit pricey.

Victoire are available from BLB, for the price I'd probably probably go Paul (or a multitude of cheaper hubs on a pair of slightly more expensive 32h rims...)

^ I think this is possibly going to be the better option. On all my searching I'm coming up with spending at least £200 on hubs alone. I a little bit nuts considering it's for street riding - not competition! I should stop getting sucked in by exotic sounding machining etc.

yes to novatec bdw. I have a pair sitting next to me ready to build up and they feel quality, though obviously I haven't tested them yet

I've got blb king hubs and I've been really impressed so far, the build quality feel great, nice and smooth and as theyre low flange theyre not that noticeable.
Another hub suggestion, though again quite expensive and not sure about spoke count is the profile track hubs

Charge also made some, though they are bolt on cog only.
But can be had very cheap on ebay at the moment if you can stand the lurid colour

Or, if you want the original, you could see if you can find a set of Mavic 520s

Ended up buying one of these:
Not light, but I changed my mind to stick with 32h - plus for 60 notes it's worth a try. Has a forged shell and mid height flanges so we'll see how well it builds up.

All City New Sheriffs
I'm after new hubs for a fixed wheelset and before I over complicate things – what are the options for:
Fixed/fixed Rear hub,
Bolt-on axle (using allen bolts)
28h
Black
Front bolt-on hub (front hub is not the main issue)
low flange
28h
Black
So far I can find Paul components, for many dollar.
Phil - far too many dollar
Goldtec - track rear and road pro hub for front - still on the pricey side but a UK company so don't mind so much. And BETD are actually being helpful.
There is also BLB "king Hubs" - but they are ugly and low flange rear.
Also, I have found some company on the bay, Bike Dome Works, that seemingly sell modified novatec track hubs with a female axle and 28 hole drilling. Sound legitimate?

Am I missing any other obvious/obscure options. Im aware I'm making my life needlessly complicated and expensive just to have bolt-on.
