For anything like this, pop down the road to Surbiton where you have three options:
Surbition Cycles by the Marina
Surbiton Cycles by the station
Recycles by the traffic lights at the intersection of Brighton Road and Portsmouth Road. They're great for little jobs like a wheel true and removing a stuck freewheel.
