If you haven't paid yet, it's not too late. Blanks are at the engravers but scheduled for completion by 21st March, so there's still over a week to add more to their work list.

any updates?
As noted, people who ordered just types 3&4 should have them by now. If your order included type 2, they are at the anodiser and will ship on Saturday.

This looks as though the cap is bottomed out on the top of the steerer, not pressing on the stem. Presumably hasty show bike assembly, but a warning to everybody, when you apply the preload the clearance between the underside of the cap and the top of the steerer closes up.
At some point in the future I might make some thin spacers which match the OD of the top cap, so you* can put an extra few millimetres between the cap and the stem if you don't want to trim your steerer to a high precision but want to avoid the diameter mismatch you'd get with most spacers which are quite thick walled.
From sumo's Bespoked set
*I mean "I" obviously, but this whole project started with my spares :-)

Yes please :-)

If you do make thin spacers I'd happily buy some in 5mm for the bike which needs spacers. Normal spacers are too wide to have a smooth transition with Ritchey WCS stems.

Is there any chance of getting a Type 2 cap in a custom colour - i.e. not black - in the next order? I appreciate that there may be additional charge for such magpie tendencies...

Standard colours at the anodiser are here, I haven't asked them for pricing but I'm guessing it's more than black, and obviously the black charge gets shared between 20+ caps, so you might be looking at ~£40 extra just to do one.

Steep, but the Red Bike shouldn't have a black stem cap. It's just wrong. If you could find out how much it would be when the next order goes in, that would be great, and I'll add get a few more. P.S. Aluminium Fiery Red, obviously...
