Looks like a fantastic bag. I want to fit a 15" laptop, DSLR camera, lenses and flash (with padding). Anyone had experience using this bag for a large laptop and bulky items? I know this is a vague question and I will try and determine an answer myself by measuring dimensions.

it might be pushing it. A 15" macbook would take up probably 1/3 the bag. Then you should have enough space to fit a DSLR with a lens attached to it and a flash, but other lenses, well, depends on how many are we talking about and how big are they. If you tell me what exactly would you want to put in the bag, I could try it out for you later. That is if your lenses and mine are similar in size.

My Laptop is actually 17" across :/
The area of space I need is at least 40cm by 26cm with at least 18cm of depth to comfortably fit my laptop and camera on top of each other with padding. I also want to use the straps to attach a tripod. Might have to go with a larger messenger bag. Sigh, bigtop looks so nice.

Spotted one of the bigxtop messengers in Norwich this morning.

does it come with a right shoulder strap or only left side??
JamesKJ its reversible i.e. both
Doesn't look like it is from the photos but I may be being dumb. I was just about to order one but I use my current bag over my right shoulder (ie. it swings under my left arm). From the pics I have seen, the large padded bit looks like it's for the left shoulder. What's the deal?

The whole thing detaches (magnets) and switches over to the other side.

Let me know if you do want to sell. Already been thinking about putting in an order for one once I get my bike back on the road.
