  • Double discs and brakeless: you are THE MAN!

He also lives in the south of sweden so it's windy as shit. Big brass balls everytime he rides.

.. and I ride it without a lockring.

Thanks everyone, It's been a blast building it and I'm really happy with it.

  • I thought you scored a proper track disc?

  • Nope. Road wheel with the magic little converter. Don't think Gipiemme made track discs. Not sure though.

  • They did.

Also cover up the valveholes on them discs for extra aero.

  • I could do it on the rear wheel but not in front. The tube is leaking so I have to fill them up every time I ride it.

  • Not permanently, just use some tape if you don't have proper covers.

Anyway, if you don't have a lockring or brakes, is it safe to assume you live in a remote area with straight roads?

  • very nice build in spite of the writing on the front disc

  • Cool!

Or I'll change the front tube to one that doesn't leak.

Well I guess you could say that haha. But I've ridden it in Malmö (3rd biggest city in Sweden) and that was no problem. Used some loctite and my crazy nordic viking strength when I mounted the adaptor. Hopefully it'll hold up for some years.

  • Repped for "crazy nordic viking strength"!

  • I found your bike, great, for more info: http://www.veloczechoslovakia.cz
