I've got that same bike! Built it up with all Italian Parts from 1972-1985. I think mines a 1984, in exactly the same finish, so yours could be a similar year. Rides like a dream but never heard of the DeRosa connection

mine has more sloping fork crows though, do yours also have the 51.151 pantographing?

just to clarify whether my sight is distorted ...
if those aren't two different frames I stop posting here, seriously...
this frame has the same length in seattube and toptube and headtube-fork:
that has a much longer toptube than seattube ...
innit? you do the math about angles ... if you want

^ Look, cameras aren't EYES - lenses distort dimension. When you take a picture of something, the elements that are closest to the lens are enlarged and those farther away are diminished. This is more than doubly true if one is using a wide-angle lens. It's called 'depth of field' and you should read up on it before making out that somebody's trying to pull a fast one. Your cut and paste job proves nothing and is geometrically unsound, not to say misleading.
For what it's worth, the first picture, taken perpendicular to the frame, probably reflects most accurately the bike's dimensions.
