For Sale: Lovely 1980 63cm RIH

Super sad to be finally selling this, just doesn't get ridden since I built up a more modern bike.
Really want to see it go to a good home.
Perhaps someone will take it to L'Eroica! That would make me extra happy :)

Full Shimano 600 Arabesque groupset
(except for shifters which are Campag, 600 brake hoods perished so replaced with Dia-Compe)

Miche hubs with Super Champion Gentleman rims, with almost new Panasonic Pasela PT 23c tyres!

SR handlebars, stem and seatpost.

Brooks saddle (scuffed, photos in flickr link)

pedals not included, but will pop some old flats on for test ride and cycle home ;)

There is a fair amount of paint chipping, unfortunately when I purchased this off a Forum seller about 2 years ago
he did a rather bad job of wrapping it for shipping, which resulted in the chips you can see in the last flickr photo.
There is also a little humidity on the rear stays, pictured in penultimate flickr pic.

Just before Christmas the bike had a full service at Balfe's in Kennington.
I replaced the cassette to a Shimano MF-TZ20 freewheel cassette as the old one was pretty worn,
the chain also got replaced at this time. The gear and brake cables also got replaced.

since then the bike hasn't seen much action, just gave it a good clean and tune up this morning so all good to go!

I would like SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD for this, open to offers but with the recent service, new tyres and other new parts I would say this is a fair price.

Pick up only, I live in Kennington and work from home so available all the time. Happy to meet at Vauxhall or Waterloo also. Please feel free to come over for a test ride!

If this was made by ernesto C you would be biting this mans arms of at this price. This is a quality hand made bicycle that needs a good home. Come on people what do you get for £320 . Not even a dodgy Tiawanese framed Surly that's made from gas pipe and rides like a donkey

it is a tall frame, I'm 6'2" and find it a little on the large side but still a really great ride.
