I have an old 1980s Raleigh Winner frame in fine condition though cosmetically a bit ratty. I stripped off the original paint and resprayed it black a couple of years ago, though it's since started to scratch and flake off quite a lot. There's a bit of rust but nothing deep set.
Quite a comfortable sturdy ride, forgiving on potholes, not heavy. Don't think it's any high end steel. Raleigh badge isn't on it any more. Got a feeling it might be a little big for your requirements - maybe 56 - 58. Is lingering in a mate's shed while I decide what to do with it.
Let me know if that piques your interest and I can fetch it. Would be happy with £20

Also think the seat tube might be wedged. Can be moved but will need a combination of elbow grease and real grease.

£55 inc bb and the seat post in the photo (was a bit of an awkward one to find).
Here's a photo in rat bike set up.
It's pretty scratched and there's a small hole in the left seat stay where a previous owner tried to remove a braze one.
I rode it everyday for a couple of months and never had any problems .http://m.flickr.com/photos/107937557@N03/10724109095/lightbox/

Oooh, very tempting, may be just a bit too small but I'll definitely run it past him, looks lovely - are those wheels 700? Look smaller, but it may just be the rake throwing me off... also, is the fork drilled for front brake? Presumably there's a bridge between the seat stays? Cheers

Ok cool, thanks for letting me know, definitely interested when you do, although would like something sooner than that if anyone else has anything...
Hi all,
Currently on the hunt for a super cheap frame (around the 21/22 inches mark in size) for a fixed gear conversion I'm doing for somebody...
Something similar to the one in the attached picture would be perfect
Thanks
Nori
