Ladies and not-so-gentle-men of the forum, I present to you, my beloved Raleigh Alpha Sport.

Have kept it original for a few years, but recently got fed up with the weight, and especially the suicide brakes, so decided to strip the parts and spend inordinate amounts of money on it.

Some new parts, some bought on here, some on eGay.

Be gentle please. It's my first build, and is my commuting steed.

Looking for a long-drop front brake (around 60mm) and a headset in black, if anyone haz 4 salez??

Mavic GP4 on Miche, Maillard CXC pedals, Profile Airwing, 3ttt stem, Dia Compe Shot lever, Leader crankset (comes stock on 725s), San Marco Rolls (Concor Supercorsa is in the post, my arse doesn't like the Rolls).

Input welcome, I'm pretty happy with it but there are improvements to be made. I think the cockpit is damn sexy.
