  • When was your torque wrench calibrated? Maybe it has drifted since it was last checked.

  • ft-bls =Fucking tight with a big long spanner

  • new bike shouldn't really have any creaks though..

From a reputable brick and mortar shop where they PDI the bicycle before handling it to the customer, yes.

No chance of that when you order online though.

  • Right then dear mob, are we blaming Foffa or Wiggle?

  • Nice color!

I agree about the saddle though I should mention nothing with a big wide slope in the middle ever works for me and it does seem to be softening up a little bit.

My bike hasn't fallen apart yet and I'm quite pleased with it. I wasn't sure about the 28mm tires (after riding some dreadful hybrids back in the day) but they devour cobblestone like nobody's business.

And now I'm off to take it to a professional trained in the dark arts of bracketomancy because something in the bracket region has begun creaking like a barn door and nothing I can do to it with an allen key seems to be helping.

My money is on chainring bolts.

    This plus one

  • cleats

  • This plus one

Plus one from me too, I had such a creak and eventually one of the bolts fell off. And the others weren't so much on as just in.

Wiggle bikes are sent ready to ride.

It said you still need to pay delivery to get the free service that's required after 6 weeks.

  • Yeah, I'd have to agree, that's not ideal but I was really just addressing your previous statement that a bike bought online would not have had a PDI check before going out to the customer.

  • Johnny Fixed. Their Dolan Pre Cursa build is worth £700!!!! Possibly the next Foffa? :)

  • "Not For The Light hearted, Only The Fixed & Extreme."

  • A build that took time and cost a fortune, luckliy I had both

  • you missed out the best bit

  • The budget for this bike is around £400.00 so far I have spent £229.00 - So you can it is going 'VERY' good but I do not care how much I spent, for more its about quality.

  • trololol.

almost makes foffa look professional. Same 'aggressive', 'aero' saddle angles too. Whomever wrote the copy on the website needs to be informed that they can't actually use English, let alone a spell checker.

  • Lulz.

  • Reamers. adjustable reamers and Honers on standby

  • What incomprehensible tripe!
"Whether a bike is old or new, we customize it to a never before see stage including... carbon forks, rim stickers, deep v rim, frame stickers, etc."

    So... they make stickers?

  • No, they put the stickers someone else has made onto the bikes, well custom innit.

  • Meh.
    Rule #1 of bike tinkering.
Every creak will sound like it comes from the BB area.

Unless it sounds like it's coming from the stem.

  • That's the only time it's actually the BB.
