I messed up, they didn't shout are you ready: gun went off and I grabbed the rail! (Right at the back!) rolled to the front to save face!! Whoops!

Some great racing on Saturday night, and also good to see some of the VCL youngsters racing (and winning!) in the development events.

It was a shame to see most of the upper tier seating empty though - maybe if they didn't charge almost 2x as much for tickets to LVV as any of the other Revolution events they might have got a full house.

Also - I am sick to death of being moved on by staff every time I stop to watch 2 mins of racing when walking around the velodrome to get beer or food, or just to stretch my legs. Happens every time I go to LVV - and it's completely unnecessary when there aren't enough people circulating to ever cause a blockage.

Price was the only reason I didn't go.

TV coverage has been dire. Standard.
Who is it aimed at? Baffling to a newb and not enough content for those who already understand track.
On Saturday I found out the velodrome had a receptionist and bar staff! Who'd have funked it? But the flying 200, points and scratch was squeezed in to under 10 mins and not a complete race shown for the entire show.

We can't understand why the ticket price for Revolution should be so dear compared to Manchester either. Nor can we understand why you should have to pay for each individual session when events span two or more sessions.
For the Good Friday Meeting you will pay for a ticket which admits you to the morning session and then through to the afternoon session. That way you can watch each event from start to finish. Tickets are available from quaytickets.com or visit the website thegoodfridaymeeting.co.uk
