... threaded stem is longer than most of the1/8th ones i roll with on newer frames
which results in setting up risers for more sweep and just a tiny bit of clearance
much prefer running tight on the stem rather than stretched out over the front wheel would explain the reason for angry stance for Drops
My riding style is always changing to (hopefully) better accomplishing the task of being mobile.... always striving to find a better way
