  • Fair play. There's a 52 on the tt forum for silly money atm, looks like yours is in mint condition though.

how much of silly money they are asking?

  • 400 or something. Would have nabbed it if it was 54..

  • thanks, I can't see anything, need to sign in. do you have contacts or link to elsewhere?

  • well played. good hipster bartape.

i take it itll be in "forever cycling to the track" riser mode?;)

  • What wheels are you putting on this RoBoTo?

  • 90mm crabons. Should be ready to be picked up in a couple of weeks.

  • I didn't want to post this in your sale thread, just in case I was off the mark, but are you sure your Omnium frame is a medium? Mine is defnitely a M and as you can see from this pic, it has a longer HT, TT and more square main triangle...

I just listed it as it was listed on the Geometry chart I posted on the advert. There is definitely a smaller size than my one. Are you 100% that yours isn't an L on this size chart?

Bitch, pls. It's a great combination. Not necessarily to everyones taste (aesthetically) but I don't care as it works amazingly at propelling me around the track.

  • I'm 99% certain. Will have to check next time I'm at the track.. will probably go fish it out this Sunday as I need to do some stuff to it before I start racing on it again.

  • Got some upgrades :)

  • Thanks to HoKe for shooting these glossy shots for me...

Things I've found out after a couple of track sessions. Due to the short head tube, compared to the old Omnium, I'm going to have to go for a shorter less aggressive stem angle. 120mm and -12º on the Zipp creates a bit too much of a reach. I'm going to try out a 100mm Arx with a 6º angle and see how that feels.

When I'm happy with the track setup I'll get some nice pics of that too complete with scoblebrick™ images.

  • Didn't get chance to get down to HH this weekend and test out new stem angle and length, but decided to build it up in track guise for obligatory Scoblebrick™ pics.

  • Zen + Rotor combo freaking awesome man. Haters will hate but who cares.

  • just can't get over the paintjob. it's a little.. meh :/ looks hella fun though.

  • I know what you're saying. I wasn't convinced by it when I first saw this colour scheme. I think it's actually a vinyl wrap under clear coat. The black paint underneath is nice and sparkly though looks better in the carbon than it does in the pics. And it is fun :)

You coming back down the velodrome?

  • Track day, yes. General use, no. Track bike is elsewhere atm and getting it together is too much hassle. Plus accreditation, etc. Meh. Getting my kicks with a derailleur and hills this year.

  • You should definitely give it a ridiculous neon paintjob

  • Hot pink front end

  • You should definitely give it a ridiculous neon paintjob

there are enough dosnoventa, aventon and skream-frames out there

  • it needs wing pistas more than anything

  • and a longer post to finish it

  • Nope. My post is the 300mm version and has about 15mm to 20mm left before max inset line, so I can't move up to the 350mm post.

B0n0r, these forks are fine at the moment. There isn't a big rake difference between the two models and the steerer on these is pretty short so I'd probably have trouble shifting them and I don't have the finances to buy an extra set of forks right now.

A custom paint job would be great, but it's still fresh at the moment and I'm still dialling in the riding position. Once it's had a bit more use and it needs freshening up it might be treated to some hipster fades or sparkles.

Next upgrade will be the wheels. Hopefully, they'll be built soon...
