Bree Louise
Good ale. good food.
Been in there plenty looking like a twat and survived.
And they do CAMRA discount.
Bit of a beardy 'beer festival' pub though.
I'd head around the corner to the much nicer Crown & Anchor. -

Euston Tap for a couple before the train goes, not food though
They will order pizzas in from somewhere they deal with nearby. Good.

are there any downsides to a skin suit compared to jersey + bibs combo? I am in market for bib shorts for the summer but the skinsuits (from castelli) look tempting
So €uRo!

Yah but there's not often anywhere to eat them (well, there's the upstairs but it smells a bit of wee and can be as full up as everywhere else).
I suppose this problem is reduced somewhat by the good weather...

Bree Louise is about average bitter prices once you include the camra discount, plus it smells of wee. Not a bad pub though.
A bit late now but the Doric Arch, next to the bus station on Euston Station, is surprisingly decent for a station pub.
Anyway, has anyone tried one of these bags Crumpler Ultralight Backpack - Black / Orange - UL-BP-001: Amazon.co.uk: Shoes & Bags I always tend to find these fold-up rucksacks are a bit lacking structure so not particularly comfortable to use. Is this any different?

I would bet you're right. They also never really work unless fully packed because whatever you put in distorts the shape all over the shop.

I suppose this problem is reduced somewhat by the good weather...We managed fine on the tables outside but yes, this option is somewhat weather dependent.

Was it a painless experience? I.e. you pick some pizzas, you pay for them, you eat some pizzas?
I've often considered it but never seen anyone else eating there and tbh been a bit of a baby about asking.

Yes, I've done the pizza thing when sitting outside there and it was fine.

tl;dr - HTFU

I spose you get this all the time but how do you fit in being so fast/training with drinking so much beer? The last thing I want to do after a big session is get on a bike (or at least, if I try, my body prevents me by making me fall off).

I've got a Tange Sekei 1" threaded headset and I want to know where this plastic bit goes and which way up.
I assume it is the seal (2nd from bottom)
and goes like this but want to ask the grown ups.

I am not a grown up, but that looks right to me

That's the bottom cup and the crown race would fit onto it.
-
• #57943
it should clip into the lower cup, and will hold the bearing race in place, the crown race will then fit through it.
Try assembling it as I can't for the life of me remember which way up it goes, but if you put it altogether before you put it on the bike you will see easily enough -

Is their a less pricey similar product to the Rapha Essentials Case?
I've got a muji neoprene wallet that keeps my phone, jimmy wallet (but not jimmy hats, in case Tibbs sees the obvious hip hop reference), some cash and my keys in it.

I have a few largish prints is like to get framed.
I could go budget and get ikea/ebay frames etc
And on the other hand I could get some bespoke frames made up
What other options do I have?
And are there any framers the hive mind would suggest?

• #57947
We've been grabbing a load of the habitat rona oak frames from homebase, slightly nicer than the ikea ones and not bank-breaking. standard formats only though.
-
• #57948
Bet dammit wishes you picked up his oak frame.

What does the other side of the seal look like?
Looks like the ridge goes on the in side.
