is burgess park suitable for running after the suns gone down (i.e. is it well lit and will I get murdered by the mans dem?)

considering doing my run first then coming cycle-ps so I don't have to rush straight off soon after.
The park was once a crime hot-spot and around 2007/2008 there was a spate of attacks on cyclists/runners - mugged and assaulted at night.

I think crimes in the park and surrounding areas have dropped since the huge refurb and relaunch in 2012. I'd be interested to know by how much though.

Still a bit hit and miss with its lighting. I used to run around it with a whistle, my best mate and a rape alarm. Never when dark.
