Those Look and Technic Yele bikes on top of the page make me think of this:
And I don't know wether to like it or not.. -

Good spot ed. The downtube shows a frontal impact just below the headtube lug. ooof.
Now that you mention it, I only checked the top tube and headtube for damage. There's a partially transparent sticker on the DT which might mess up the perspective, but I'll definitely check the DT when I get the chance and report back.
Frameset was about £80 posted so not a big loss financially, but it would be a bummer if it turns out to be unsafe to ride.

i don't like the set-up (stem, post mainly... and the saddle and grips are ugly) but the frame is fun.

Checked the frame and the down tube is clearly bent. I guess I'll ride it 'til it dies. A sad day.

I guess I'll ride it 'til I die horribly. A sad day.

Afraid the preacher is right on this.
May be fine to ride, but the risk of dying horribly increased slightly with a damaged frame, even with steel.
-
• #8999
Aware of the possibility of course, and I'll be keeping an eye out for any indication of the damage worsening (creaking sounds, increased bending etc.), but I'm not that worried of the frame suddenly snapping with fatal impaling and OTB-launching consequences.
