Part of the deal with local residents to get consent to installing lights was that derny use would be limited to certain hours (to reduce noise) and that also became a limiting factor.
As I said up there ^^^, I think the Thursday sessions are going to be training sessions tailored specifically to upcoming races. Some will be derny, some may be madison, etc. I may be wrong, but that is my sense.
I was looking forward to the derny sessions too :(
