@RedVinkingHood, I like the 40mm focal length on full frame as it is quite wide but still looks natural in terms of background compression etc. The optics are fucking good as well - it happily out-resolves basically every other canon lens and even the extreme corners are sharp at f5, which is great for cropping.
The size is also quite appealing - it makes the full frame body less of an arse to carry around. The only thing it isn't good for is continuous focus tracking of fast-moving objects but that's a given considering its marketed for smooth video focus transitions.
