And Harvey, if you check the thread between now and Saturday, don't suppose you've got a BSA 109 shimano octalink (v1) BB in do you? 5500, or similar. Halfords Catford do of all places but giving them money is pretty much the last thing I want to do.

Every Tuesday, until the next death.
I'll have gotten this running lark out of my system in a few weeks and will be back on the beers and the bike so it should survive through the summer at least as I have plenty of drinking to catch up on.

is burgess park suitable for running after the suns gone down (i.e. is it well lit and will I get murdered by the mans dem?)
considering doing my run first then coming cycle-ps so I don't have to rush straight off soon after.
The park was once a crime hot-spot and around 2007/2008 there was a spate of attacks on cyclists/runners - mugged and assaulted at night.I think crimes in the park and surrounding areas have dropped since the huge refurb and relaunch in 2012. I'd be interested to know by how much though.
Still a bit hit and miss with its lighting. I used to run around it with a whistle, my best mate and a rape alarm. Never when dark.

^ I think what you're trying to say is: let us know how it goes, if we don't hear anything, we'll pay thanks to your sacrifice with libations.

thanks, it was a one off idea anyways, I ended up just running on the way to cycle ps and on the way home instead (and set a new 10km pb).
