I once saw my mate Ant in Asda when I was with one of my other friends, so I went over to say hello. When I tapped him on the shoulder and said ohai some total stranger turned round and gaped at me in bafflement. I had to actually apologise to him which was bad enough, but after we walked away, my friend was laughing at me for about an hour afterwards, and also told other people about it.
