• Are you saying everything doesn't have to match?? Heresy!

The pink coconut ones are my favourite but I like the pink bobbly ones too.

Maybe I should keep the middle of the bike black and white but have some yellow and pink bits then blue contact points/parts at the extremis?

  • I'd go for some matching pink vinyl strips applied to the seatube, dropouts and stem.

Tape and bars should match - so white or black.

I think the colour matching on the other pearson worked well - just don't get a pink chain!

  • Yeah I could go with that. I think if I am honest having thought about it more I do want to put at least some pink on it.

^^ That is firmly in the HOT PINK category! I think my little lines are not quite that pink.

I think I'm going to buy some of this (or a more accurate shade) and do some experimenting:

    Thereby avoiding later regrets :)

  • Fuck everything, go for splash.

  • But, and I quote, 'Nothing is sexier' From the Supacaz website.

  • Okay, that is kinda awesome, a bit MASH-y thought (look awesome, but never look good build up).

  • This guy looks pretty pumped.

  • hipster filter thrown the colour off a bit but here...

Is this the kind of website you frequent Jim?!

My eyes!! That's the best argument I've seen so far for toning it all down...

  • You know when you see something so horrible you just can't help but stare? That's how I feel about that bar tape. It's turning into a weird lusting sensation.

Luckily I have no bike with even a remote hint of traffic purple.

  • Now at my local cafe.

  • Why aren't you at work? ;)

What did you think? (You can be honest, I don't mind).

Vesalius has one just like it too, bigger than mine though I think.

  • Evil Jim has planted the idea of neon pink/blue in my mind and it won't go away.

I have a mug like this at my parent's house and I am thinking of 'doing a Dammit' and using it as a themed colour scheme:

  • Dooooo eeeeeet.

  • Lets face it, there's plenty of black on black on black builds out there. Something with a bit of personality would be a nice change of pace.

  • This guy looks pretty pumped.

I hadn't noticed that he has yellow cables. He must be a fan of liquorice allsorts too.

I was actually thinking that yellow cables would be an obvious way to add the yellow - I'm not doing coloured tyres. One has to draw a line somewhere.

I am at work. This was yesterday morning. This bike is the size of both your bikes together I would think, man who rides it is a commonwealth game and world championship rower so you should be okay when you fall out with Ferrari.

That belongs to one of the Directors here. It's huge.

Champ stripes? Not just for winners.

    Fluro edit.

    cmy.

  • CMY?

  • Yes Pete, they match the yellow decals on his bicycle.

I was thinking about this the other day and came to the conclusion that some hint of yellow around the saddle would be preferable, maybe blue QR front and back. Pink headset and your sorted.
