Ok, so my first bash at a build with gears and brakes. I'll probably want to try some longer/faster rides in the summer and I figure it'd be handy to have a "sensible" bike in my arsenal.
I picked up Black Dave off JB last year:
Unlike JB's awsome build, my aim was for something reasonably cheap to test the waters. Something modest, something solid, nothing bling. (At least for now!)
Anyway, Dave's been sat in a cupboard for months but just now I bought him:
I know very little about road gear but but the above seemed like good deals to me.
Just need to source a seat, bar tape, some tires and I'll be set. :)
