^^ I'd have thought most people use rechargeable batteries now, as they're better for the environment and cheaper in the long run.
Sanyo Eneloop's are good quality and hold their charge well.
I guess it's horses for courses I just don't really understand why you wouldn't have x2 pairs of lights. For me it's usually x1 pair flashing on my body relatively high up and another x1 pair static on the bike.
